  flipper I recorded Jeff Lynnes ELO:Wembley or Bust on Showtime from his last concert of summer 2018. It was a delightful 2 hours of listening to a great group and watching Jeff Lynnes still at it. Still Totally ADD

  Anything that sounded like rock n roll. I was told by a elder that only country music was acceptable. Then another one said only classical music was OK. So I listen to Emerson Lake and Palmer and one of Deep Purple records. They mixed classical and rock n roll together. I guess of could have listen to ELO also with their song Roll over Beethoven. Lol. My dad would tell me only kingdom music was good to listen to. So I listen to all the rock music. Still Totally ADD

  did you know?the 1st case heard by the supreme court of the united states concerning the watchtower society involved a director (an officer) of the watchtower, william franklyn hudgings.. a brief description of hudgings and his character.hudgings was an attorney, quack doctor, self-identified ‘scientist’, a pro-zionist, and religious enthusiast who over the years held various director and officer positions in the watchtower society, and the affiliated people's pulpit association and international bible students association.

  at the time of this particular case, william hudgings acknowledged being the corporate secretary of the people's pulpit association and acknowledged that his daily duties included the administrative charge of printing of the watchtower magazine, the bible student's monthly, the kingdom news, and other watchtower publications.. (hudgings was also re-elected to the watchtower society board of directors in january 1919.

  People (!) and their bloody phones..

  rant warning.. simple shopping trip.. near miss one,.. normal ..as people are such dick heads today, second very close both by women with their brats in car- both occasions arguments going on over their f*** phones.

  the second had mum leaning over the drivers seat waving her hand in brats face.

  i saw this coming hit the brakes making tires howl and leaned on the horn.

  Im with you on this zeb. It's a phone not a typewriter. Get your face off the screen and pay attention to whats around you. When walking it is amazing how those light poles and curbs get in their way. Lol. The thing that really shows how addictive these cell phones are is when a family is out for dinner and they are all sitting there with their faces in their phone instead of talking to each other. It seems both sides of the pond has this crazy problem. Take care and watch out for those cell phone drivers. Still Totally ADD

  This really SUCKS! I feel very sorry for those who are being kick out. It shows how Amoral the borg really is. I seem to remember the wt use to say to young men to make a carreer at bethel. It may have taken me until I was 54 years old to wake up and leave but at least I never took the bait to make bethel a career. I think this is one of the reason they make them sign a letter of poverty. That way no one can come back and sue them for back compensation. I may be wrong but I would never put it pass them.   If My Dad Were To See The Watchtower Org Now

  as we all know, this org has metamorphosized from one ugly creature to another continuously since it's inception.

  but more so it seems in the last 30 years.. i got to thinking what my dad would think if he were to be brought to life for 5 mins to see the way things are now.

  how would he even react?.

  My father died in 2009. I am sure he is rolling in his grave over what the wt. has become. Dead for almost 10 years if he could come back now he would not recongized it. They would most likely df him for believing old teachings and its been only 10 years! Still Totally ADD

  theramin trees, psychologist and ex jehovah's witness, has done simply the most carefully constructed, rigorous and utterly damning reveiw of the role of watchtower in case 29 the australian royal commission into institutional responses to instances of child sexual abuse.. although the ex jws community have gone over the carc ad nauseaum, anyone who is familiar with the work of theramin trees or his brother ;qualia soup, will surely be aware that the quality of their work ensures this will likely be the definative video on the subject.. cannot recommend highly enough, people!.

  The downfall of the Governing Body

  in a book i read a while back by the sociologist randall collins he says truly powerful people don't get angry because they get what they want in other ways, and he shows a picture of two runners where the one who's losing looks at the girl that passes her rather than ahead at the finish line, guess she doesn't wanna win the race after all.

  i want to apply these to the governing body and their actions, the pattern of their actions, in printing all the hateful rhetoric against people like us and why l'm pretty sure, pretty damn confident in fact, it's all downhill from here... thanks to them and them alone.. the moment you let somebody get in your head and let them stay there they beat you, they win, they establish power, we got in their heads, they know we present a threat to them, we won't shut up, we're more brazen than we used to be, we're in the news, we're on tv, we're online we're at conventions we're in the kingdom halls, hell we're just about everywhere.

  yeah, we don't have this completely down yet, sometimes we come on too strong or do something stupid, and i'm pointing the finger at myself here too, but for the most part we know how to fight this battle: we drag them into the light when they wanna hide in the dark like jackals lurking in the woods sneaking up on weak and wounded deer.

  Well said john. You are right in saying we are in their heads and in many ways we have won. Still the damage they have inflicted on all of us still remains. Many wounds to be healed, many broken spirits to be fixed. Many battles have been won and lost but the war remains to be won.

  Many years ago when I was new to this board I was told the hurt caused by the wt. will remain with me forever. I now realize this is true but you can turn all that hurt into something good in your life. Making sure everyone you know learns how harmful all cults are and how to recognize what a cult is. Taking off your cult personality and putting on your authentic personality. To me this is how the war is won. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  Saying hello again

  just saying i’m still alive and greeting everyone, veterans and newcomers to this forum.. 2018 was a year with a lot of turmoil in my life; me and my wife separated, then reunited months later, and spent the second half of the year healing the emotional wounds from that episode.

  that, along with a record year in terms of my business meant that choices had to be made regarding my time, and i decided to focus on my marriage instead of other endeavours.

  it seemed to have paid off.
